easyJet recently announced the launch of a new base at Doncaster Airport, as well as the launch of 36 new routes for the Summer of 2010 including five from Doncaster. New flights will operate from;
• Amsterdam to Split.
• Basel to Ajaccio, Nantes, Split and Thessaloniki.
• Berlin Schoenefeld to Corfu and Split.
• Bristol to Paphos and Tenerife.
• Doncaster to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Faro, Palma de Mallorca and Prague.
• Dortmund to Palma de Mallorca.
• Edinburgh to Lisbon.
• Ibiza to Naples and Venice.
• London Gatwick to Bordeaux.
• Liverpool to Rhodes.
• Manchester to Mahon, Sharm El Sheik and Zurich.
• Milan Malpensa to Bordeaux, Corfu, Santorini and Thessaloniki.
• Paris Orly to Mykonos, Olbia and Palermo.
• Rome Fiumicino to Dubrovnik, Heraklion, Ibiza, Mykonos, Palma de Mallorca and Split.
Norwegian has announced that they will launch six new routes from their base in Bergen, Norway. The new routes include six weekly flights to Copenhagen and Stockholm, two weekly flights to Barcelona and Rome, and one weekly flight to Antalya and Crete. The new routes will start from March 28, 2010.
Lufthansa will launch a new route from Munich to Tehran, the capital of Iran. The route is set to operate four times weekly from March 29, 2010.
Air Berlin have announced a new direct flight between Berlin and Visby on the Swedish island Gotland. The service will operate weekly between June 19 and August 28, 2010.
